Senior SEND Advocate
Toby Eager-Wright
Toby has previously been a SENCo for 8 years and a deputy headteacher responsible for attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion for a further 6. Three of the six years were spent at a pupil referral unit. He has sat on LA permanent exclusion panels as well as EHCP panels and has successfully grown one of the most popular mainstream SEND departments in Bedfordshire. He also has extensive experience with exam access arrangements as a level 7 assessor. With two adopted children who have suffered trauma he is now navigating a world of additional needs closer to home as well as the challenges of working with the system to achieve the right support and funding to close the gap.
